New Day, New President
By: Frank | December 23rd, 2008Sorry for the lack of posts; between finals and research papers I’ve spent the better part of the past month writing, studying, and/or sleeping. Due in part to my laziness, I’m basically ripping this story from Sam over at Hasta El Gol Siempre. After many years of imcompetence between Blanquiceleste and other past presidents, Racing held presidential elections for the first time since BC came into power, with the winner being Rodolfo Molina, taking 40% of the vote. I’d say this is a nice way to close out a year where we were a game away from being relegated, saw protests outside the AFA, and in general had to deal with the disaster that was the 2008 Clausura. Now that things have settled in my life, there will be more posts, so watch this space.
